Consumers not wishing to receive unsolicited direct mail can register with the Mailing Preference Services (MPS). It is a waste of time and money sending mail to them, and you could breach the "British Code of Advertising, Sales Promotion and Direct Marketing". Here you can check and clean your mailing addresses against the MPS file.
